Born as Kailash Sharma on the 11th of January 1954; Kailash Satyarthi is the man who recently was awarded with the “Nobel Peace Prize of 2014”, which he shares with Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan. He is known to be a hardcore children’s rights activist and against child labor, who has highlighted child labor as a grave human rights issue.

In 2007, Kailash Satyarthi was given a Trafficking in Persons Report Hero Award in recognition of his incredible efforts to combat forced labor, bonded labor, and child labor in the South Asia region.
